I just usually get the middle or bottom shelf to stock the stuff i don't really drink. And keep the top shelf stuff for what i have often... In vodka and bourbons case i have high and low qualities for mixing and cooking. If i had to pick one thing, for me it would be Bakers 7.

Good single malt --lots of good choices, I like Bruichladdigh and Balvenie double wood

 

Good Tequilla, anejo if you like sipping and good flavors

Gin = Hendriks

Vodka = Stoli

Rum = Mount Gay

Tequila = Patone silver

Scotch = Red label/black label or blue if you got the $$$

Whiskey = Jack Daniels
