08leggy Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I just need some replacement rotors and pads for the front and back. Anyone know some OEM alternatives that might be better. Thanks
PhilT Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Why do you need replacement rotors for an '08 car ? If there is something wrong with them, go back to the dealer and get it fixed under warranty. Unless you have been doing some serious driving of course Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon
RaGe Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 www.thekingofparts.com or shoot them a PM ( VVV that link ) http://legacygt.com/forums/member.php?u=15853 Hawk HPS with OEM rotors. This is what i have. Incredible stopping power. OTM. Sorry I didn't mean to start a war which mainly forum people is all about .
08leggy Posted February 10, 2008 Author Posted February 10, 2008 a friend told me about brembo blanks for like 20 a rotor know any rotors that would bolt in with no mods?
fweasel Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Dollars to donuts your rotors aren't warped. A more likely explanation is pad deposits. I like Hawk HPS pads for daily driving. I have them on both legacies and my Nissan. ignore him, he'll go away.
tito_b0y Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 hmm, I can use/replace my OEM pads with the HPS pads on my OEM brakes? (2.5i) I just feel that the OEM brakes feel a bit mushy sometimes. forgive me for my noobness 2006 SWP 3.0R 5EAT VDC BBQ 2008 OBP 2.5i 4EAT BBQ [RIP]

If they are, yes, they install and work with the rest of your system. ignore him, he'll go away.
tito_b0y Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 The front pads are available for 2.5i's, and shows the options: http://www.thekingofparts.com/servlet/Detail?no=311 but there's no options for the rear pads: http://www.thekingofparts.com/servlet/Detail?no=312 EDIT: nvm, found it at the drop-down box.. 2006 SWP 3.0R 5EAT VDC BBQ 2008 OBP 2.5i 4EAT BBQ [RIP]
