SubyDude555
Has anyone else had trouble getting Greddy headers to seal up to your up-pipe without an exhaust leak? I am currently running Greddy headers with a Zero Sports up-pipe and VF-22 turbo and I am not sure what is causing the problem the headers or the up-pipe. The leak is always on the top half of the flange and its usually about 1/8 of an inch thick. I have tried a few different exhaust sealants and I have also tried using two gaskets instead of one but nothing has worked. Does anyone have any advice on my problem? BoxerGT2.5
Pull the DP, loosen the UP from the turbo, then tighten the UP to the Manifold and then the manifold to the block. Retighten the UP to the turbo and put the DP back on. Get new gaskets to the UP/manifold and well as the manifold to the block. Rigid pipes are fun huh? You can't half ass it with a rigid, you have to do it the right way everytime you unbolt the thing from something. If that doesn't work then start looking at the flanges and checking to see if they are true. OBAMA......One Big Ass Mistake America!
