My replacement filter for the SPT Intake

Prime Power

Recommended Posts

It was time to change the filter so I went to a K&N replacement filter. Still the SPT intake. I don't want this thread to be about the SPT intake, that I posted here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54636

I would like this to show people an alternative for the replacement. I left a few k miles on the old filter so I can swap it before I go to a dealer so they can't try the bs of "o your filter is the problem for the brakes" or whatever. The part # is

RX 4990 and it is open all around even the top. It is an extremely nice filter and I purchased the wrap to keep out moisture. I haven't had a chance to get the logging done on it as my software will connect to my avalanche but not the suby, even though it has in the past. I am in the process of fixing that with the tech support and will post the results of air intake temp, and flow when possible.

Hope this helps some people.
