kopy_kat
it is a wicked cheap price!! but people don't like the big cabinet and it is not sexy like the new lcd/plasma.. so i have to put that into account.. but the picture is fantastic.. late, k

edkwon
im not trying to critize, but how can a tv be rear projection AND CRT?
underscore
just a typo probably, crts don't go above 40-41", they're huge enough at that size
kopy_kat
it is CRT because before LCD, before DLP, the rear projections are driven by 3 CRT guns (Red, Green, Blue). they produce, great colors, and good black levels. the downside? small viewing angles, because it uses 3 guns it has a big cabinets, and you need to make sure the guns are aligned. but if the unit is not moving, it hardly move much. i check every 6 months and never really have to do much.. it is more me tweaking..
