Drift Monkey
Higher than stock. I personally run 39F/37R on my sedan.
sduford
I would say start with 3-4 PSI above the recommended and see how that works out for you. Most people do not go above that as it negatively impacts the ride and may cause tire wear problems. Drift Monkey
I have to say though, I didn't do it for better mpg...
gtguy
The only time that an increased pressure will cause tire wear difficulties is if you go so high that it causes the tire to bow outward. But the ride quality deterioration would be noticeable far before things got that far along. Kevin
Ken S
Well, I was running stock pressures and I was begining to get inside-outside wear on the tires. My tuning shop recommended to up the pressure by 5psi all around to 40 front/38 rear on my LGT wagon. They noted the RE92s don't have very stiff sidewalls. The increased pressure has improved handling quite a bit with only a slightly firmer ride. I can't say that gas milage has changed though.
