BernardP
It is now winter in my part of the world, and already we have had a number of nights below -20°C. I have noticed that when there is a sudden drop in temperature to reach -15°, -20° or lower, the seatbelt dinger resets itself and I have to perform the "procedure" again to turn it off. It lasts only for a few days, and when bitter cold comes back, the dinger comes back too. Three times in the last 2 weeks, I have had to perform the procedure. Anybody else have noticed this? John M
My guess is you lost enough battery voltage during cranking at that temp that you reset the computer. That wouldn't explain why it quits dinging in warmer weather again though...
Magruder
Mine stated dinging again this week at -4 degrees!

kenzo
Maybe the cold weather will reset the flawed climate control system to a working state.
