Silver_05_GTX
I'm going to have the coolant and brake fluid replaced this week at a local shop and forget about the dealer's $525 30k Maint quote. Some Questions: If I tell the shop to use silicate free coolant, is this sufficient? Is the Subaru cooling system THAT sensitive or will a shop who's done this on any other aluminum system be familiar with what needs to be done? Is this Subaru Coolang addative necessary? I can't imagine that a sub-30k car can have such a tempermental cooling system... Thanks for any help.
kenchan
why dont you just buy a bottle of subaru coolant and hand it to the guy?
