Osei Posted October 7, 2007 Share Posted October 7, 2007 try www.allforeignautoparts.com thay have a lot of salvage items, get their phone no and call them, don't think it's an item listed on the website. you'll have to try a lot of salvage places. I've found some posts that it's on the intake manifold and it has a purple connector. I found that on my engine and it does indeed look like a solenoid. Just want to confirm before I pull it out. Osei Posted October 8, 2007 Share Posted October 8, 2007 No longer have my BE, but I believe you've found it. The book Chilton #64304 2000-2006 Legacy and Forester manual. (Find one),says: "It's located on the front of the right intake manifold runner (for the No. 1 cylinder)." There should be two hoses and one electrical connector and two bolts mounting it. O.
