RangerMan
For an AWD car you want it to be as stiff as possible. You are trying to keep all of your drive wheels in contact with the ground. For the Mustang you disconnect the front sway and keep the rears soft so you get maximum weight transfer. You do that with an AWD and you will just be hurting your 1/4 times. ScoopMan
wtf do sways have to do with front/rear weight transfer? They are only active for side-to-side weight transfer amigo. Take em off to reduce weight, that's about it.
RangerMan
Right. 20lbs. off the front makes it that much easier to shift weight to the back. Again only applicable for drag racing with a RWD car...
ScoopMan
Well I guess you would leave the back sway on the rwd car to reduce effects of driveline torque as well. But this is side-to-side weight transfer again...
