Xenonk
I am sure in the MD area you can get one at $27k.. subaru internet pricing is pretty close to invoice, but you can really hit them below the belt and say "$27k is all I got and I'll walk away to find another dealer that can give it to me at invoice". 05 Outback 2.5i
Hey C-Lo, I see you are out in western Maryland, but we recently (almost two weeks ago now) had an excellent buying experience at Wilkins Subaru in Glen Burnie. http://www.wilkins.subaru.com/en_US/frm_index.chtml?pageName=HomePage_1&noc=1&overrideUrl=f_HomePage_1.chtml We had originally been dealing with Heritage Subaru in Owings Mills. I would steer clear of them, after my second negative experience, I have finally learned my lesson. We invested a lot of time with Heritage, and they were helpful at first, we even set up a 24 hour test drive through them. But when we didn’t want to buy the car we took home on the test drive, and began negotiations on a similar car things broke down and they came back with a bunch of attitude. We walked, searched the Internet for another car equipped the way we wanted, found it at Wilkins, called them up, told them what I wanted to pay and went down the next morning and bought the car, for considerably less than we were trying to work toward at Heritage (and well below Edmund's quoted Invoice price). We dealt with a sales guy named John Wagner. Overall a very nice and helpful young man, though no more knowledgeable about the product than any other dealer, he treated us well. If you should end up heading down there, tell him his recent customers Scott & Nadia sent you… __________________ ~Scott & Nadia '05 Outback 2.5i Wagon Willow Green Opal/ Moss Green Metallic 225/60HR16 BFG Traction T/A's
sandwood
The internet is a great way to go. I had 4 area dealers competing for my business. Don Beyer in Alexandria ended up undercutting Fitzmall and getting me a legacy gt for several hundred below invoice. Good luck. getting out of the legacy game

DSattler
I bought my GT Limited wagon in June from Jeff Colarossi, Internet salesperson at Russel Subaru in Catonsville (which is where we live). Painless, professional, invoice price, very good after-sale service 9accessories I wanted that they didn't have yet were sold to me at cost when they came in, and Jeff did a nice job of follow-up). Fitzmall has an excellent reputation and we almost bought a Toyota there a couple of years ago. Very nice, honest folks.
