It doesn't make it more sporty and it doesn't improve performance. The only thing it does do is make it harder to get in to the back seat. Why does the "if it has 2 doors it's instantly more sporty" stigma exist? If you want a 2 door car go get an Accord coupe. Coupes are less practical, but they often look better than sedans. No question this is true for the BMW 3, the coupe looks great, the sedan looks awkward. That's because the only company that put's a real drive train in one is BMW. If some company would put a decent HP engine and drive train together it would sell. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
