andersoncollectibles Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 Hey guys. We spent the weekend at WRC in Trier and I wanted to show you some of the cool shots we got! We had pit passes (like we did back in '05) so we got to be up close and personal with the SWRT drivers and rally cars. It was ALOT of fun.. and yes my 8 month preggo self was keeping up with the rest of our group hiking out to those stages! Here's some pics from one of our friends. I'll post up mine sometime tonight. andersoncollectibles Posted August 26, 2007 Author Share Posted August 26, 2007 Atkinson did a decent job, but yeah overall SWRT didnt score real high in Germany. Peter was really conservative on most of the stages we saw him.. very unentertaining and Pons well.. haha he's inexperienced. He spun out into the crowd on one stage, stalled on another.. unless we just saw the "unlucky" parts of his weekend.. I suspect he was driving similar to that the rest of the time. Can't wait to see the highlights of the stages we missed on TV. It will suck when we get back to the US and dont get WRC on the telly. The first 2 pics were my friend camera... its similar to mine (just a newer model).. plus he knows how to use it better than I do Canon Digital Rebel XT (35d) I got the other 2 drivers to sign stuff too.. have another picture with Mils.. but the ones with Peter didnt turn out so hot. Ive got a good one with him from '05 though. I know there's a thread on here somewhere with the pics from that year. I didnt post alot here cause many of them are similar (pit cars, etc). There is also a great pic thread on IWSTI from those Americans here in Germany that went... lots more pics from the same friend (really awesome quality). Hey.. and watch who you callin knocked up! Andrew's been home for almost a year now.. I'm sure he's missing some ass to kick.
