leggtnut
So picked up a Outback Front bumper under guard. I installed it today. Looks awsome. Here is my write up: First you need the following tools: Philips Screw driver, Flat Head Screw Driver, Drill, 3/4" drill bit (or metric equilivant), and a little elbow greese To remove the front bumper, follow the directions here (I did): http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3737 Now you need to test fit the bumper guard to find the locations to drill. I was a little hesitant on this part, but it is under the car and you will never see it unless you get under there. I used a pen to outline the holes. From there I drilled the holes. See picture 1 I then installed the guard with the pop-it's. Now for the hard part. The upper mounting points. I found the easiest thing to do is to mount the mounting plates to the guard and then clip them against the bumper, there is a ridge for it to hold against to. There must be 2 holes on each side of the bumper, which the legacy doesn't. See Picture 2 From there re-intsll the bumper and grill and you are set. See the rest of the pictures. Just one note: The bumpers lower bar are slightly different as well. There is about a 1/8" gap both vertical and horzontal. So it isn't a 100% fit, but close enough and it isn't notisable.
