You can set the sensitivity of the sensor and if something hits the car or something like that, the alarm will go off. So, try turning the sensitivity up all the way and gently bump your car and see if it goes off. I want one for my car. Oh, and congrats on your purchase! VXCL Posted August 1, 2007 Share Posted August 1, 2007 without it the car alarm wont go off just by hitting the car. so just put ur hands on it and shake it and see what happens. easier to do in the rear. it should go off no prob. i just cant remember if the headlights flash when i did it. that would be bad for my xenons.
