BIU
Anyone out there has tips to tone down noisy pillowball rattles and whatnot? Im on Zeals V6s with the new function X springs... Its contained in hot weather...but when its rainy out or overcast its starts to have rattles when traveling over washboard type surfaces....or over bumps etc.. I know thats something we have to live with in exchange for the performance... but i was just wondering if any of you have tips or pointers to tone it down abit if its possible... Lubricant? Any methods? Cheers

Spec B
How long have you had the coils?? I have no odd noises with my BC coilovers...not yet.
FPerron
I bought some Megan coilovers with a couple K miles on them. One of the fronts seemed to have some up and down play in the pillow ball and was quite noisy - as you describe. It turned out that the top nut - which secures the pillow ball to the coilover - was loose. Tightening solved the problem. However, I have heard that pillow balls will eventually wear and loosen up - especially if the car is subjected to lots of street miles. I bought 2 spare pillow balls for $50 a piece, just in case these coilovers go out of production before I need to swap out the pillow balls. captainmorgan
Take them apart and use some bearing grease on the mounts, then torque it back up just snug, not too much.
Infamous1
+1 on the grease. No noises from the pillowballs on my GP Motos.
