Looks purdy. Carbon fiber overlays inside look good.

Since you have the hood dampers why don't you remove the prop rod from the engine compartment to declutter it some? Undo the bolt holding the bracket that the rod clips into, remove the bracket and replace the bolt. You can pull the rod right out of where it pivots inside of the fender.

Well, I'm not interested in tint. I left the prop rod in because eventually the shocks will go and I won't remember where I put it

Actually, I was doing that spray the bleach in the vents thingy. Hitting the road tomorrow for a week and can't stand to go away in a dirty car. At least the inside has to be clean. The dash isn't as shiny as the flash makes it look- it's actually a very low gloss interior dressing.

Thanks man- I love the look of the tips every time I look at the car! The side visors are a pain, but not difficult. Just put the clips in, then align the visors, unstick the tape a little at a time and take your time.

Did you manage to pick up a set of visors?

Yep, from japanparts.

Might get to it next weekend. This one was a bathroom remodel & Miata tech day (separate, not combined...).

Now I see why your cubbypod did not fit.

You didn't read the installation instructions! WOW you really f'ed that up.:lol: sorry man - had to say it. I have never seen that before.

Here is what it is supposed to look like. No cutting, no force, it just snaps right in.

I understand what you're saying. I had to do it like this- it wouldn't work any other way- I actually had to remove some material to get it this good. I wouldn't be stupid enough to put it in on the wrong side.

sorry, I did not mean to sound like an ass in my post!

did you try disassembling your cubby / dash to put this in? You have to take apart the center console and the cubby too, then the cubbypod snaps right in. I attached a picture of an example cubbypod install - which mounts the same way.

I am just confused. If you really disassembled the stock cubby like my instructions state, and it did not snap in.... then why did you re-assemble the stock cubby and cut up the cubbypod to fit it inside the stock cubby? It is supposed to replace it.

Anyway... not trying to be mean or anything, just trying to figure out what you were trying to do there. I hate to see my Cubbypod cut up like that!

umm..I don't mean to hate or anything but if I am driving a station wagon I would be a little reluctant to put a sign on it that says "BOOST INSIDE" even if it is a turbo. But maybe that is just me
