RaGe
Just like the title says. As i am going to be purchasing the up/down here in the near future. Did the search on this but wasnt coming up with anything that i was looking for. leaks, fitment issues, etc... so looking to get peoples reviews of this product as i am considering purchasing it. Was also liking the EGT bung due to my recent purchase of a EGT gauge. LMK. OTM. Sorry I didn't mean to start a war which mainly forum people is all about . TRS
My PDE UP has been on a couple years. In that time the stock header was swapped for a GReddy on the bottom end, and the stock VF40 turbo for a TDC hybrid up top. No problems.
jim1969
PDE recommends you use their solid up-pipe with an aftermarket header. The flex up-pipe is recommended with the stock header. http://www.pde-usa.com/faqs/subaru/uppipe.htm Read the first question and PDE's answer. Saul_Good
I've had no problems so far with my heat wrapped ERZ UP.
TRS
Guess I'll find out if the GReddy is "manufactured correctly".
RaGe
so no known fitment issues? OTM. Sorry I didn't mean to start a war which mainly forum people is all about .
Saul_Good
No fitment issues with the ERZ. As long as you use the supplied gaskets, it fit fine. McCorry had the same one. Just make sure you shave the two studs that are in front of the DP.
SWP-LegacyGT
I've got a PDE Flex-Up waiting in my garage to go on. Just need to find a cheap catted DP and i'm going stage 2. From what I've read on here and NASIOC, it's a solid pipe and for $100 (what I paid) it's worth every penny. Just make sure you get OE gaskets from the dealership when you install it. DO NOT REUSE! cheers.
fweasel
No issues with my PDE flex-up. The OEM heat sheild attachment points are a useless marketing feature, but other than that... has performed well. ignore him, he'll go away.
PhilT
I had the PDE solid UP on for over a year before I went to the GT Spec headers. Perfect fitment, no leaks ever. They should push their products more. Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon
