2SubyFamily
I'm taking it to have the work done by a trained suby tech, is this a couple of hours or will I be without my car for the day? I have a 5EAT and it's a Flow shorty DP and Flow up pipe. Thx. 2011 Legacy 3.6r w/multimedia 2005 WSP LGT *sold 2006 Tribeca Limited NAV/DVD *sold 2005 FXT *traded 2003 WRX *traded

I have a 5EAT and it's a Flow shorty DP and Flow up pipe. Thx. I had this exact work done yesterday - 2 hours flat. Granted, the guy's done it dozens of times. If it were me, the first time, you could probably double that time. ________________________________________________ '05 BSM OBXT Row-your-own, W.I.P. '06 Shrek B # 64 - The car the wife loved to hate :( Sold...
eqt2010
I have a 5EAT and it's a Flow shorty DP and Flow up pipe. Quick question. Does Flow shorty DP have O2 sensor bung for wideband? Crucial shorty DP is too expensive for me. BTW, how about Stromung Shorty DP?

And this is from a tech that has lots of experience on Subarus. 2011 Legacy 3.6r w/multimedia 2005 WSP LGT *sold 2006 Tribeca Limited NAV/DVD *sold 2005 FXT *traded 2003 WRX *traded
SubLo
Thx. I was quoted 6 hours!! And this is from a tech that has lots of experience on Subarus. That's ridiculous. The guy, if you ask me, is trying to rack up some hours have you pay for it. The guy is either trying to jerk you or he doesn't know what he's doing. ________________________________________________ '05 BSM OBXT Row-your-own, W.I.P. '06 Shrek B # 64 - The car the wife loved to hate :( Sold...

Paradiso
I'm your basic shade tree mechanic, never owned a suby or turbo car before. Took me less than 6 hours to do with lots of breaks so I didn't smash something with a sledgehammer. This guy's either an asshat or trying to screw you. 2SubyFamily
2 hrs flat, and with no lift. Only jack stands and a pepboys jack. It's a shame I don't live closer. I read your thread, I'd be there in a heratbeat. Gonna try the dealer, now that I know what it should take. 2011 Legacy 3.6r w/multimedia 2005 WSP LGT *sold 2006 Tribeca Limited NAV/DVD *sold 2005 FXT *traded 2003 WRX *traded
