Natheya
So I guess the car wash is blowing sudsy water down my hoodscoop at faster than 70MPH so I should be worried? Because on my way to work in the rain its going there.. Its also happening after snow melts with rain/mud/salt mixtures all over the roads. This thread is funny.. If this were really a problem I think we would see lots of other threads..

kenzo
Subaru has an indicator for the intercooler soap issue. The Intercooler Lather Lock ('ILL') will display along with the suds level detected; for example, ILL.4.
qikslvr
Wow. Is that what that means? I better take mine in to the dealer today and get it checked out! Mine flashed ILL.3 a few weeks ago and now it's at ILL.6. Is it going to blow up soon? Let's kick this pig!

Vimy101
I'm pretty much convinced that soap in the the int3rcool3rz and the studder are probably related.
