outahere Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 My right front inner boot ripped on me, I bought an aftermarket axle and attempted to install it after work to find out it didn't fit and had to reinstall the original. So another day, I took the bad axle out and took it to a Rear-End/Drivetrain specialist and they completely rebuilt my stock axle for 50 bucks At that low price, they probably gave you a rebuilt CV joint.
