I miss the east coast. All the roads in northern Indiana and Michigan follow the same pattern: 2miles of perfectly straight, flat road, then a 4 way stop at an intersection where 4 farmers' cornfields meet, 2 miles of perfectly straight, flat road, then a 4 way stop at an intersection, then 2 miles of perfectly straight, flat road, then a 4 way stop at an intersection, repeat ad nauseum until your head explodes...

On the plus side, the corn's always fresh and if you fall asleep at the wheel, you're unlikely to hit anything but corn.

Off Exit 31 on the Northway... Make Right off of Northway and first available left... follow signs for Essex Ferry... it's Route 12, at one point for about .25 miles you go through a small town... somehwat windy back road that I love to take on my way to Burlington, VT...

It's a bit dangerous...people jogging and SUVs constantly driving down the middle of the road, but if you get a clear shot, and keep it within reasonable limits, this is a great road in Greenwich:

Edit: If you zoom in, you can actually see the curves I'm referring to...Nothing about this road is in a straight line!

1 south on the belt from just north of the verezzano to coney island - traffic will make this less enjoyable

2 the PIP from exit 1 & north... (9w from englewood cliffs/fort lee & north - but the stretch between tenafly and closter/alpine rocks)

3 202 from 17 (mahwah) to oakland

Green Pond Road between Rt 23 & Route 80. This used to be super-fun, but highly patrolled by the police now to keep the speed down.

Its def. a fun road. Just gotta watch for the deer, and some slightly blind corners. Its best to run it during the night, or early morning.

Where in central jersey are you at?

I'm starting a Tristate members directory, you should post:

Interesting. Maybe I'll give that a shot next time I'm heading towards the outlets. Not totally out of the way since both 195 and 33 are right by me also.
