If the new Camaro is everything I see and hope it will be, I think I'm going to have to ditch my beloved LGT for it in a year or two. Many here on this forum act so macho about how it doesn't matter how high gas prices go they have to have their speed and it will never matter how much gas costs. But when its $4.00 a gallon outside of CA I doubt people will feel the same. Not that the LGT gets bad gas mileage, but can you seriously imagine an STi Legacy? Not to mention that its gonna cost $200,000+ to send just one of my unborn children to Penn State. Gotta budget somewhere. .........Not that a Camaro wouldn't be fun for a little while. I feel ya man. But MPG is not the determining factor in LGT vs 5th Gen Camaro. Honestly, my LGT is getting as bad mileage as my old 87 IROC did back in the day and the probably on par with what that new Camaro will get based on what the current GTO is getting. Sigh.... The only problem is that, at least in pre-production form, it's Big Fat Porker - 3900+ lbs. Can't deal with that. Similar problem to the GTO. If they could get it sub-3400 lbs, I'd jump a lot quicker. Hopefully, the LS3 will do as the 'Vette does and get high 20's on the highway with cylinder de-activation, etc. . I'm trying to negotiate a price for an 02 with 9K on it. Silver with a black top, automatic. I was going to hold out for an 09 Challenger (she wants one of those too!) but I gotta move before she changes her mind:cool: I told her this; "We ain't selling the Legacy". Period! I epoxyed razor blades to the back of the replacement radio. What a mistake!!!! They tried again and got cut to ribbons, and the slashed my seats, dash, you name it. I was young and dumb.
