GTLTDGOLFR
I've got an '06 GT LTD 5 speed. A few weeks ago I was screwing around with the car next to me. We both accelerated hard following a light. I don't think I'd hit the accelerator like that from a standing start before. The car picked up speed quickly, but the front end seemed to rise a bit and felt a bit "floaty." Is this normal? If so, is this a reason why front end work is so popular here?
Guest
It squats. Yup, normal, you need better suspension.

whitetiger
I remember when i had stock suspension. the car would squat so badly during launches(stage2+) at autox that the guys at the start lins swore that i was gonna break somthing.
CoSpringsSpecB
yup... can happen pretty bad going into 2nd as well... I launched pretty hard one time and had to remind myself that its a awd and not a rear wheel drive car as i thought the front end was coming off the ground....pretty much was the convincing factor in me getting new springs...
