BigT
I need some help. Some how the wheel well plastic on my car came undone and got partially eaten by my wheel. It was pretty gross. it is now being held together by part of a hanger. Can I just rip it off and wait until I get a new one from the st3ealership? Is there stuff there that need protecting? FYI My HIDS ballasts are there as well. Is this a problem?
CSTMIZR
You'll be just fine. My recommendation is to not "rip it off".......but to tactfully remove the minimum area of the, now offending, wheel well covering. I recommend a "tin snip" or industrial scissors, just cut out the least that you can, and if you are very concered; neatly placed plastic, some tucking and some tape should hold you over for the duration of the wait (proper service expected). Aftermarket items should be paid special attentin to, product and install quality vary, so beware. Hope that helps.

bskey
If warranty is covering this ask the dealership for a loaner as you are concerned about splashback getting into your electronics. life in spin cycle.....
