Whirling Dervish
I finally cleared out my headlights yesterday, but when doing the final runthrough noticed a bad relay in the passenger side marker/turn signal. Took the air cleaner out and disconnected the MAF to get to it, and DID turn the car on while MAF was disconnected. I assume the lights coming on is related to this. I DID search before posting , but the most that I came up with is to disconnect the battery, depress the brake pedal for 30 seconds, and reconnect. Is that the accepted method to clear the code? Thanks for the advice...
Osei
Autozone is your best bet.., or any other retailer that will let you use their scanner. this way you can read the caode to make sure that is all there is. but leaving battery disconnected for a few minutes will clear that too. You'll just lose all your radio programming and clock settings. O.
carrata
Is the gas cap tight? I've heard of the same CEL and Cruise control coming up because of that.
Whirling Dervish
Yeah, the gas cap is tight...Here in NJ state laws require that certified gasoline attendants (pump jockeys) fill the tanks. I was going to run up to Autozone this morning anyway...might as well head over now and check it out.
ncretter
I can verify CEL and blinking cruise light coming on for loose cap. (sorry that was off topic, just though I'd throw it in)
