05gtlimited300
What are some of the rates you can expect on a gt limited? anyone from new york?
ashmelev
There are too many factors that affect insurance premiums and the car make/model is only one of them. For example, replacing my current '02 Honda Civic EX Coupe with '05 LGT Limited Sedan affects: Liability -$4.00 Comprehensive +$15.00 Collision +$8.00 PIP -$7.00 Total premium increase $12/6 month. I can guess that becase the insurance company thinks that AWD decreases chance of collision, better driver protection decreases injuries, but the car is more expensive to repair/replace. But the base rate could be very different for you.
eddiemoney
It is based on a number of things. . .Example 2007 Impala SS 330/6 months for full coverage (me, male driver) 2003 VW Passat 370/6 months for full coverage (her, female driver) Explain that one to me. . .Foreign cars are a little pricier than american because parts cost more, are harder to find, even if the american car is a lot more powerful and dangerous. alohajeff
Orange County (California) $740 and change per year with AAA. Just turned 30, no points, single male (divorced), multi-vehicle discount. Can't remember the coverage amounts offhand but they do raise the premium around 25% over the basic California required minimum. Aloha
