Strabismo
When I'm turning my steering wheel, after about a quarter turn, I can hear a *click* sound coming from somwhere around the steering shaft under the gauge cluster. The noise is coming from inside, not from the engine compartment or under the car. This is very annoying. Anyone else ever had this issue?
fweasel
I have it too. I believe its the clock spring inside the steering wheel. I find the stereo and periods of WOT help to drown it out. ignore him, he'll go away.
NewLegGT67
I thought I was hearing things. I get this sometimes as well. Sometimes I drive with my radio off to listen for any wierd noises. I only notice this when pulling into a parking space (really slow speeds). I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3. Strabismo
OK. That plus the mysterious passenger side B pillar rattle, plus the clutch squeak... Is there something in the interior of this car that gives me the impression of driving a 40K$ cdn car?
J_ONES
Ours makes this noise as well. At first I thought the noise was isolated to inside the car, but I thought I heard it yesterday when my wife pulled out of the driveway.
