I think to subaru it is the red headed step child of the STI and they don't feel for some reason it is a big deal to have more safety while driving at night by installing a better lighting system. I was waiting for the 08 specs to come out and if they had HID I would wait until 08's hit the lots in May - June. It will be my first mod however to my 07. I have an 06 Legacy, and have HID's installed, i am still unhappy with them and just want to have stock ones, so whenver they offer it on a legacy i will have to part with my baby and get a new one. MiniStiGuy Posted April 18, 2007 Share Posted April 18, 2007 the problem with HID's in the stock optics is that the bowl's aren't designed for the HID's. Inorder to fully get a HID to work with the car's I would suggest a Rx330 Retro. (link in my sig) All you have to do is buy: 2x D2s Bulbs 85122(4300k) or 85122+(500k color matched) 2x D2s Ballast Rx330 non-afs projectors 1x engine harness Its easy to do and gives you full OEM HID setup with a wider with more focus'd light in your beam pattern.
