GeorgeB
well ... what to chose that is the question . should it be a lgt (which i should bring all the way from USA to Europe ) or a forester 2.5XT the forester has a bigger ground clearance and is smaller in size than the LGT . which means that i can park it almost anywhere and i can get through traffic easier . the lgt is faster , but i would have problems with the service and getting some spare parts here ... both are excelent cars and that 's why i'm undecided . i've put up my car for sale but 2.5 gas awd cars are not liked around here if it's not TDI written on the back of them they are not worthy cars and now i'm taking my time in deciding which should it be . help ?!?!?!? Max Capacity
LGT I just can't understand why anybody would spend that kind of money on a Forester when for a little more $$$ you can get a more comfortable car. If you want more ground clearence then the LGT get a Outback Turbo. Sorry, that's how I feel. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Engine Build - Click Here
GeorgeB
well the forester 2.5XT would be actually a little bit more expensive then importing a LGT from the USA . but the forester would be JDM while LGT would be US specs i'm not 80% into the LGT and 20% into the forester as i've spoken at the service and they can deal with the LGT... although it would be the first LGT in .ro
GeorgeB
the JDM forester comes with a sportshift 4AT ... haven't tested it out yet .
Beanboy
Why not a home market Forester 2.5L turbo? http://www.subaru.ro/nou/modele/forester/data_sheet/ Seems it would be far, far easier than dealing with importing a car from the US or Japan... -B http://www.standardshift.com
Rommel
I used to have a '05 LGT limited wagon and traded it for a FXT Sports. Few things that I miss on the LGT is the luxury, power and handling, although I feel the FXT is faster on take off compared to my Stage 2 LGT. Things that I like about the FXT is ground clearance. I lowered the FXT with STI Forester pinks and still have a lot of ground clearance. Ride quality is good. Plus the FXT is a lot cheaper to mod. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b346/rbsaeroparts/P1010002-3.jpg '05 Legacy GT wagon http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b346/rbsaeroparts/P4060849.jpg '07 Forester XT Sport
