CasopoliS
I am making a batch of shift knobs for the MT guys soon. I would like to piggy-back this order with a couple of AT knob prototypes. Are you looking for a round design, or more of a shaft? They will be made out of black delrin. The MT knob is round with a short stem at the bottom. The overall height is much shorter than stock. To convert this to AT.... I have considered just tapering the bottom down towards the shift lever shaft, but keeping the same round design up top. BrownBoy
I really like the design of the MANUAL tranny subaru/momo knob. A black delrin of the same shape as the manual, redone to fit the auto. would be very nice, without the really long shaft on it etc...
Meltdown07
I hate the momo auto knob, but would love to replace my stock AT knob. Something sleek and not bulky is my only thought. Go Cardinals!
AKLGT
i love my current MOMO AT autoshift knob, but it still sticks up a lot. I would love to have it so it doesn't. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v384/trdvibe/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/3deb587a.jpg Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah!!! oxide
I absolutely love the look of the STi titanium shift knob made for MT's only. If I could have such with same engraving, that would be awesome!! http://www.thekingofparts.com/catalog/4-1-titamium-shift-knob.jpg
rvlmtfnk
i like the fact that the delrin knob is black and sort of blends in, even with my wood trim. so i'd probably be down with it. why don't you come up with a design and put it up so we can tell you what we like and don't like.. speedemon
i like the stock sti shift knob...something like that. and i would say the shorter it is the better!

CasopoliS
I will have to find a stock sti knob... but here is a quick rendition of the knob pictured above. Using that picture, I tried to replicate that design... adding a taper at the bottom for AT. The threads would be deep in the knob so it would sit low. http://www.casopolis.com/images/AT_knob_01_logo.jpg

Meltdown07
Is there going to be any logo or anything on the top flat area? Just curious. I think its a pretty slick design actually. Can't think of anything I would like to change just yet. Go Cardinals!
CasopoliS
it will be plain to keep cost down. A small CasopoliS Design logo will be provided to be placed on the top, I updated the picture above to show what this might look like. Picture a black knob with silver logo though. Fallschirmjaeger
Here's my wishlist..... put a momentary-on button at the top so I can disengage the manual mode and pop back into sportmode without having to nudge/tap the lever with my hand.
