1994 L

Recommended Posts

My buddy has over 300,000 miles on his 1994 L. He believes his motor is dieing and wants a new motor becuase loves the car. He wants something used, cheap, and easy.

Does anyone know of a good place around Northern Kentucky to get this work done and find a new motor.

What about cost.

Thanks.

Best place to look would be a salvage yard, and try to find a Legacy that's been wrecked / totaled, but from the rear, and pull the front clip out of it. I'm not sure on cost, and "easy" is a relative term that depends on what tools and what kind of shop you have access to.

Try to match the engine type and year, along with transmission type, that will make life much easier than trying to wrestle with a different harness.
