Which wheels should I get? (Civic owner)

Dont you think you'd get better feedback and suggestions on a civic forums for a civic than a subaru forum?

Yeah I knew someone would say something like and is why I made my little disclaimer on my first post. I mean, it's not like I was asking something technical about my car like "How do I check the valve clearance?" or something on those lines. I am simply asking you for your opinion on wheels, which requires no use of technical knowledge at all. I am asking on a legacy forum because I feel that your opinion is unbiased as other civic owners would have a strong opinion about what their cars should look like. You should be flattered that I am asking on here and not there because I would value your opinion more. And I have actually been around here for a while, since at one time I had a lot of interest in your cars and actually did a few photoshop pictures for some members here.

So basically with your post what you are saying is that I am not welcome here? And that since I don't actually own a Legacy (although I am interested in them), I don't deserve to make a post on here asking for an opinion on something non-legacy related? I hate to compare it, but this is very much what it is like in the real world; "If you don't look like me, or share the same ideas, then you don't belong here".

Anyway sorry I had to go off like that, and I am certainly in no way bitching about anything or trying to start drama. Like I said in my first post, I am here because I am interested in these cars and hopefully one day will purchase one. Unforetunately for now, all I can do is watch you guys and won't be willing to contribute anything worthwhile until then.

You're cool, no worries.

Good luck with the paint. I tried paint once and the results were not satisfactory. That's not to say it can't be done, though. Be very careful with the lug nuts and socket when you re-install the wheels or you'll end up scraping the brand new paint off around the lugs.

Seek first to understand, then to be understood.

In other words: SEARCH before you post!

holy defensive over reaction. are you even listening to yourself? im just asking a common sense question. i mean i dont go to a rabbi to ask for christian spiritual advice, but that doesnt mean im not free to ask the rabbi questions about stuff that he feels comfortable talking about.

it's just the concept of getting the most out of your questions in the right forum, not 'oh no, youre a civic owner, go away, youre not welcome here!'

in case you dont believe me, i do go to othe car forums when i have questions about other cars, cause i tend to get a higher yield of useful info, thats all, i hate wasted effort.

It takes you a lot of effort to determine whether a set of wheels looks good on a car or not? Can you only decide if a set of wheels looks good on Legacy's?
