Well I got my wheels and tires, mounted one tire for test fit and they look nice but I think I may want to go with 225/40/18. I ordered 235's based on the opinion of several but they seem a little larger than I wanted (maybe the F1 is one of those tires that are large for their size) or maybe I just don't know these sport tire sizes well yet!

There is about 1/4" clearence between the OEM strut and the tire, I would like to lower my car at some point, albeit that I dont want to go too low as I live in CO an need some clearence. I understand that the clearence between the tire and the strut is fixed and will not change with suspension compression. Anyway here are some pics that I took. Sorry that there are no pics of the front and rear I only had one tire mounted up.

These few I jacked the car up in the rear to create less wheel gap (fake drop) to see clearence.

F1 GS-D3s tend to run narrow

Hmm. Just had a set mounted on 18x8 today and they seem very square at the edges and not too much narrower than the 235 Kumho's that came off.

ignore him, he'll go away.

More pictures please!

I'm looking to get Hyperblack P1 too!!!

I don't have the tires all mounted yet, once I get them on I will be sure to take more pics! I haven't been in a real hurry to get them mounted because I probably wont put them on the car until mid to late april anyway. I do however plan on having them mounted up within a week or two.
