Ridgeracer
Hey all (Mainly to Ksport owners) I have a set of Ksports that are about 2 years old and my left front strut started leaking strut fluid last weekend. Well I actually found it leaking last weekend when I changed the oil. I think it has about 30K on it by now. I bought them used. Anyways how long do you all think I can drive the car like this? I have to wait for Ksport to send me my replacement. Costed me about 130 shipped. BTW this is the second front strut I had to replace. First one developed some play between the shaft and body. It would cause a knock when I would stop or go. "Gimme mines Balboa...Gimme mines".....Clubber Lang - Mr. T
Infamous1
No offense but it sounds like maybe you should go a different route.
Ridgeracer
Yeah....I have been having problems here and there with them on occasions. I might just consider getting new tokico struts with springs instead down the road. Ridgeracer
I think i must have blasted a really bad dip or expansion joint. It didn't help that I have 8K springs with the dampers set to full soft either. Anyways the strut is off of the car. It was all caked in oil and road grime. When you compress the shaft, the movement is uneven and then suddenly gets bouncy. I guess it still has its N2 charge?!? You can also hear squishy noises.
