dr_sharp
Personally, I'm looking forward to the S5... 350hp v8 coupe with lots of new goodies. I believe it is Audis answer to the M3. Of course with only 350hp it may not be much of an answer... but at least they will finally have a nice coupe on the market. lol

awdG35killer
There's a guy at the garage where I keep my car who has a brand new RS4. On occasion he comes in at the same time that I do and has the biggest smile on his face. I asked him about the car and he said it was just awesome. Really well-balanced all around car. i would hit him over the head, take keys and just drive across the country its just sooo overpriced imo. id rather twinturbocharge an M3 for less than $66k

iyalla
There is no answer to the M5. Yeah you can have a bigger engine, yeah you can have AWD, yeah you can have less doors, BUT nobody has the TOTAL package. Nobody. The M5 is a man among boys

dr_sharp
Why such little respect for the M5? issai
Am I the only one that likes the last gen better :/ Looks like a modded 335 +1. I feel the same way. Last-gen M3 mods vs. its variants = hot. New-gen M3 mods vs. the 335 = awkward, doesn't meld as well. However, mechanically speaking, I'm stoked with what lies beneath the skin of this new E92 M3. It'll be the only 3-series with anything other than an open differential, for example. When I first laid eyes on the very first exterior pictures of a Phoenix Yellow E46 M3, it simply took my breath away. I *knew* I had to get one. And I eventually did (although the one I got wasn't Phoenix Yellow). Immaterial to my subjective opinion about this new E92 M3's uninspiring exterior and stoic interior (as was the case in the E46 M3), I'm confident BMW engineers will maintain the sheer performance heritage the M3 always provided despite its looks and creature comforts. They'll make it the "sleeper" performance car in its class-- similar to the Legacy GT vs. its competition. And +1 for the M5.

andrew.anderson
Anyone know what they plan on charging for the A5? $35,000-$40,000 for the A5. Low $50,000 for the S5. That is reasonable.
