I'm looking at the Thule Evolution 1200 box and am wondering if anyone out there has one on their Wagon. If so, just how much does the rear hatch not open before the wing hits the box? More the half-way? 75% open? Pictures? I'm just trying to weigh my options of big enough box for my XC ski's and how much of a pain the rear hatch not opening will be. Thanks for input. P06781 Posted December 31, 2005 Share Posted December 31, 2005 Just redrill the holes to move the box forward. I have a thule box on yakima bars with the easy___ mounts. The only bad thing is that the mounts dont lock but you can replace the bolts with security heads. It works fine. I had to do for my 98 outback and it worked when traded up to the LGT. mbcracken Posted January 1, 2006 Share Posted January 1, 2006 I finally got the Thule Evo 1200 today. Gate doesn't open all the way does open most of the way for me still get to the back.
