SLegacy99
No seatbelt.. go figure... Maybe we shouldn't be disabling our seatbelt chimes? Theyre too important. I was trying to figure out what killed him, since the cars are so safe. No seatbelt will do it. Thats ashame. And as you can see from that pic, the roof doesnt hold up as well as the reinforced A and B pillars of today's Subarus. Its true people have been trapped in cars on fire because of their seatbelts. Hell I keep a pair of scissors in my center console just incase. Seatbelts save more lives than they take.
BMac1203
Sad, but who doesn't wear their seatbelt nowadays, it's the cool thing to do! I was in an accident in the snow about a month ago. I had a Mazda3 Hatch, slid through a stop sign into a telephone pole and totalled my car (And surprisingly, I wasn't speeding, I was being cautious. But, I did have Summer tires all around, wasn't expecting snow). If I hadn't been wearing my seatbelt, I probably wouldn't have made it out with just a scratch. But, at least I'm safe, and I was fortunate enough to get an LGT as replacement. Need a CarPC bezel? PM me!

SLegacy99
1995 ain't so safe. Are you joking? 4 star frontal crash test rating at a time when 3 stars was acceptable. Still good even by today's standards. Hell VW (Im not sure why) is running an ad campaign on how their latest Jetta recieved 4 stars. Remember this one? http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f200/SLegacy99/Jun2004_SC0298.jpg Totaled! Yet nobody was hurt.

It's not so much that teens shouldn't drive, it's our driver's ed/ licensing system here in the States....the whole thing is a mess.
