The mpg gauge read out to be 24.3mpg over the whole trip. 90% of the trip was interstate driving, cruise on 80mph and small busts of wot to pass 10 times maybe. the other 30 miles was in town driving, etc. Overall, im happy with the mileage, its better than I got when I was stock. Current mods are cobb stage 2 maps, catless up/down pipes, perrin panel filter. I could have put the car in the fuel mileage mode and probley got better, but im happy. recuomo Posted December 30, 2006 Share Posted December 30, 2006 I did the round trip from LI to Daytona Beach the beginning of this month. Just over 2200 miles. Averaged 70.6 mph and 25.2 mpg. Wrong, these engines are built to support the added strain. What about turbo Diesels that travel hundreds of miles at a time? I know these aren't Diesel engines, but similar concept.
