Billy Dagwood
My oil pressure and volt gauges arrived today!! They're going into a CasopoliS two-gauge cubbypod. They're both 52 mm prosport gauges, so they're identical - looks aren't going to solve this one. SO .. my question is a simple one: which one should go on the left, and which on the right? Obviously it's not a big deal, but I thought I'd post up the question anyways. What do you think, and why?
SubiGT
I put the most looked at one closest to me. My boost gauge is in the left hole of my Cubbypod. Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!

Legacy05
Why would one want a voltage gauge? I'd think I'd rather have an oil gauge and water temp gauge.

Billy Dagwood
Why would one want a voltage gauge? I'd think I'd rather have an oil gauge and water temp gauge. I see oil pressure and voltage gauges as sort of "standard" gauges for cars. I didn't choose these for performance reasons, but rather so that I can keep an eye on two things that are crucial to the general well-being of the vehicle. After the initial excitement of seeing two more needles sweep on startup, I probably won't run with the cubby open all the time.
Billy Dagwood
to clarify .. I just mean that I'll check them on startup, and then every so often (or if something in the car's behvaior indicates to me that I should), but I don't think they necessarily need to be viewed on a constant basis.
