mechdiff
Any reason for the vertical lines on the rear window? The only thing I can think of is using them as a guide for knowing where cars in the rear view mirror is in relation to the car.
leggtnut
Speaking as a ignorant ass, but I think that they might be the part of the antenna. mechdiff
I was under the impression the antenna was at the top part of the glass, the part that doesn't defrost. In my previous vehicles I don't recall there being vertical lines on the rear defroster. I was just curious, but I figure they must be for something. TCL28
Well, my reception is crap most of the time. But yes, it especially craps out when the defroster is on. But I've noticed vertical lines on every other car I've had or driven that had in-glass embedded antennas.

I almost got some soap on my IC the other day but luckily I caught it in time and rinsed it off before too much damage occured (I hope).
