JDM BP or BL exhaust for USDM sedan?

What's the concensus? I have a sedan and am thinking of getting a JDM exhaust. I believe most guys have used the JDM BP (wagon) exhaust on the USDM sedan. Has anyone used the JDM BL (sedan) exhaust on a USDM sedan? If so is it more tucked in than stock or the same?

I have a JDM length BL5 exhaust coming my way. Should be here next month. If you want to see it you can meet up with me to take a look at it. I'm putting JDM bumpers on the car in the spring so I don't care how short it is.

I remember seeing that someone put a BL5 length Fujitsubo exhaust on and it fit pretty well. I'm now sure though, you may want to search.

thanks Drew. BTW, the brand of exhaust you are getting is coming out with a dual muffler very soon.

That is what I was told. I'm happy with the single though. That is what I want, I like the look better. Once I get it and put it on the car I'll PM you so you can check it out.

Mmmm. Tell us more...

It's a single can system. I think it is 2.75 inches from DP to muffler but I'm not sure. I'll find out when I get it.

I got it from Fizz Autosports, www.fizzautosports.com

It should be here any day now, it took a great deal of time to get as there was some confusion as to whether or not it was a single or a duel system.

I'll have more info and start a thread on it once it comes in.

hope I didn't let the cat out of the bag Drew. I'm looking into the TRUST Silent Force Revolution CBE myself.

No you didn't. I didn't want to post about it till had it w/ pics, but it's not a big deal. I'm not one of these guys that likes to make everyone on the Internet guess about my mods.

The Trust system looks very nice. Let me know if you get it. Where are you going to order it from?

I am wondering about this one.... but $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.... $1500 for the catback, before shipping... ouch. only about $640 for the center section, though, from the front joint to the muffler joints, not the mufflers themselves. If shipping were not so expensive, it would be a decent price.

K2 Gear Spec Neo series. (single pictured, or titanium dual tipped mufflers...)

I'm thinking about buying the Corazon "Dual Cut" (twin tip) mufflers to see if they mate to the SPT/Bosal midpipe. Looking at the two in comparison, I'm probably going to opt for the BP version for the longer USDM BL bumper. This probably won't be for a couple months though, and I may just forgo it and get another set of wheels for the Forester. ;)
