Gosha Posted November 10, 2006 Share Posted November 10, 2006 I got a 05 Legacy GT but I want to switch it to the metric system, so I bought an instrument cluster from a Canadian Legacy. Turns out that the cluster I bought was from a base Legacy not a GT. Well I tried it anyway and everything seemed to work (even the climate control switched from Farenheit to Celcius) up until i tried to start the car. I turned on the ignition and everything lit up the right way except the "SECURITY" light on the bottom of the cluster, it didn't disappear no matter how many times I disactivated the alarm. Then when I tried to start the car, the starter would spin only for a second and then shut off, like something was blocking it. Anybody knows how I can get it to work???
