Fly 2.5
When I park my Legacy the engine crackles very loudly for several minutes until it cools down completely. Much louder than any other Subie I've had (97 Legacy / 03 Forester). I've had a couple people question me about it since it's so noticeable. Is it normal? Yeah, that's what I thought, just thought I'd ask as I've never heard anything so loud. No biggie.
Beanboy
You should hear a LGT cool down... So much heat and so much piping, the car sounds like it is a bridge collapsing, hehe. -B http://www.standardshift.com

WhatV8
Take a look under your ride and observe all the heat shielding on the exhaust to under stand the cool-down symphony our cars play. Lots of stuff to shift/contract while cooling.
