TLS, I used a 1 1/4" rubber plumbing fitting ($3.45). I probably could have found something better at Home Depot, but I didn't feel like driving that far and went with a local hardware store. I removed the bottom half of the column cover (1 screw) and drilled a hole through the top half. I used a small, flat headed bolt that was slightly larger than the hole and screwed it through the rubber and into the hole. I originally was going to use a nut from underneath, but the bolt is holding just fine in the plastic. I agree about the accuracy, but at one time I was running 24 psi on my WRX :). A red ring and max reading of 20 psi would be perfect. C.Angus, It gets pretty good mileage sitting in my garage! I was in there with the door shut for quite a while. I think my wife was getting worried. nendo, I could have shortened it up a bit, but I wanted to extend it far enough to conceal the connections. The side view is with the door open, so it's not seen very often. I think the flash kind of makes it stand out more. If I find something better, it will be very easy to switch out. Thanks, Chris S.

Looks good Chris. If you want to kick it up a notch with a light ring, you could wrap the gauge with red EL wire and just tap into a 12VDC accessory wire, you could even have it so it turns on when you switch the headlights on.
im sorry... I read all these boost guage threads... and I have to say... for something that is not really needed on the car... this is one ugly addition. I would spend my time tring to find an electroillumiecent guage to match the rest of the guage cluster. mounting it in the little cubby by itself just throws everything off... At least you weren't the guy who dremeled the plastic to make his guage fit *shudder*
I agree. That's why I'm looking at ways to set up an LCD display and make my own dials to match the current ones, and use an on board computer. I like to have a button to flick through a variety of screens showing different measurements. The alternative is to go for the customisable In-Car Dashboard Display - see http://www.ecutek.com/products/incardash/ Of course this all costs but think of the money we saved buying the GT instead of say a BMW 330.

a boost guage is not really needed if u keep your car stock (but if u like it what the hey)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but if u intend in anyway to modify your car for more power and boost a boost guage is essential...

Very nice. just clean it up a little more. Go get some cheap-o black plastic wireloom and hide the boost and power line. I did that with my boost gauge and A/F gauge in my honda. since the wireloom is ribbed (for um... my [driving] pleasure haha =P) it'll hold in place by itself. classy touch. good job
