myUsername
I have the dreaded CEL and blinking cruise. The first time, AP couldn't detect the code and I cleared it. It came back about 200 miles later. I cleared the code again and reverted back to stock. It came back for a third time and went away by itself after 3 starts. Now, it's back again - I pulled the code and they are P0131 and P2097. I looked up the codes and they seem to be the front 02 sensor. My question is - if the code goes away again by itself and I take it to the dealership's service department, will they still be able to see the error codes it pulled (even without a visible CEL)? I don't want to go to the dealership and them to tell me to tighten the gas cap. I don't think they'll take my word for the codes that I read. gianspi
They should be there unless you "reset" them. enough zip ties and duct tape will fix anything.
myUsername
The third time I got the CEL, it went away by itself. I didn't reset the ECU at all. CEL was gone after about 30 miles.

rony
Take it to the dealer when you get another CEL. Otherwise, if you are out of warrenty, get a new front O2 sensor, probably $100+ and a Offset (Crow foot) O2 wrench and replace it yourself. Only bummer would be if the CEL comes back...
