Lower the front only?

I dont think you want to do that, that can really screw around with the overall suspension driving when you DONT have a trailer around.. what you need are stiffer springs, not lower springs.. if you are going to lower the ride height, you can really throw off the balance of the car under handling and braking situations.. it could make your car more twitchy under braking

Thanks, I was afraid of that! Any recommendations for which springs with this in mind....i.e. -stiffer springs. I assume that all lowering springs are stiffer? Sorry, don't mean to be such a "newb".

The issue is tongue weight. Either balance what you are towing, or move the ball higher. Same goes for two axles. The total weight on the tongue should not drag down your cars rear end!:)
