16psibrick
after searching for the ideal rim for a few months, i finally pulled the trigger. my goal was to find a silver 18" that is light weight, well built, not too pricey, and goes with the understated by clean look i want to achieve with the entire vehicle. the end result was a set of Kosei K3 silver 18x7.5 rims with 47 mm off set from tirerack. they weight just over 18lbs each For tires, after reading many reviews, i decided to go with a General Exclaim UHP ultra high performance summer tires. 225 40 18 After putting 100 miles on the car, including a rough drive through san francisco, here are my initial impressions of this tire: 1. everyhting people have said about it being a hidden gem is true! 2. grip versus the old bridgestones cannot be compared. in hard corners where the bridge stone started to twitch and come looes, these simply gripped. 3. what REALLY surprised me was the ride comfort. going from 17s to 18s and all seasons to summer tires, i expect an increase in roughness and noise, but what i found was the exact opposite. THese tires are noticablly softer riding than the stockers, and ALOT quieter over highway and rough surfaces. 4. the treading is rated much higher than some other tires, we will see that holds up so overall, i rate these tires very high on my list, and at 88 dollars per tire, they are a steal. previous tires i have own includes summer and all seaons from perelli, bfg, falken, nitto, dunlop, continental, bridgestone and good year here is a link to the tires http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=Exclaim+UHP next up is putting on some Tein S techs to get rid of the wheel gap and i am about done with the car snapped some quick pics for yall http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/rims1.jpg http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/rims2.jpg http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/rims3.jpg http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/rims4.jpg http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/rims5.jpg http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/rims6.jpg

16psibrick
Nooo! Leave the wheel gap.. nothing uglier than no gap above the tire and plenty in front and behind. Nice even gap all the way around FTW! Looks good! to each his own i guess there has to be a gap front and rear of the tire afterall, its so the wheel can turn
