legacy4me
I've searched the forums, and looked in my user manual. But I still cannot figure out how to get the wiper blade off the car. I would like to install new wipers for winter, but want to know how to do it before its too rainy. Am I just spacing out and cant figure this out? SnoDork
lift the wiper off the windshield. (now in the "up" position.) Where the wiper assembly pivots on the wiper arm, grasp there and pull down. Picture the Wiper arm as an upsidown "J".... good to go! ~Sucka-Duck~

legacy4me
I finally figured it out. Now that I know how to do it, I am confused as to why I couldn't figure it out at first. I was trying everything I could, I was surprised I didn't rip it off.
pillboy
Make sure you use jack stands and reflash your ECU when you are done. It is still ugly.

PhilT
Make sure you use jack stands and reflash your ECU when you are done. The ECU will have been reset when he disconnected the battery. You should always disconnect the battery when working on your car. Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon

unobtainium
Is the curved plastic aerodynamic twidgett (I have no idea what the right name for this thing is) that's attached to the driver's side blade worth anything? I put PIAA silicone wipers on my car and they've done fine so far.
Th3Franz
Wipers are 3/36000 warranty... Only for the first year/12,000 miles for windshield wipers. That's what the service manager told me. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
