svx6
I have a Spec B. Has anyone else with nav been able to hook up a subwoofer? Subaru was supposed to be coming out with a solution but I haven't heard anything about it yet. Has anyone tried anything other than the factory one under the seat? I def need something to fill in the bass. I don't really listen to my music loud but it sounds like my head unit and factory speakers are working too hard (muddy, distortion, door cards rattleing etc). I don't know anything about audio...would a sub even help me?
LGT Dave
I've seen others on here who have just installed the factory subwoofer under the passenger seat. The bracket that it comes with will not work that way because it's designed for under the driver seat, but I know of at least one person who just used velcro tape to hold it in place and it worked just fine. The velcro probably makes it much easier to remove and adjust the levels as well.
svx6
ah..that is cool. So I thought the problem was that there was no audio out or something like that. I take it the nav system is under my drivers seat.
